The surface of this gessoed wood panel is very smooth so it is like painting on glass, causing the paint to streak. I am going to give it a couple of coats of acrylic matte medium to give it some "tooth".

Day twenty-three
As I mentioned before, I paint for one to two hours a day so I am actually a little under forty-six hours into this painting.
